Just like a house isn’t complete until it’s being lived in, a town doesn’t mean much without a focus on the people living there. That’s why we spend so much time in the community, working with current homeowners, potential homeowners, realtors and even other inspectors on general home maintenance, emerging trends and technologies in the field, and overall best practices for finding the right home and keeping it safe, secure and in the best possible shape.

Here are just a few of the groups that we speak to:

  • Home Buyer’s Round Table — This non-profit helps educate potential homebuyers, with a focus on serving more diverse and lower income populations. We love working with them and getting be a part of the process of home ownership for those who might not otherwise have thought it possible to become homeowners.
  • The Madison Chapter of the Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors — We love getting to speak with our peers about the exciting innovations taking place within our industry.
  • Realtors — We regularly speak with realtors and realty companies about the important work we are doing to ensure that they have the tools they need to help homeowners, buyers and sellers.
  • Retirees — We speak regularly to retirees at community centers about how they can keep their homes safe, with a particular focus on such important issues as air quality, mold, water damage and general safe maintenance practices.
